Well it finally happened…I had a young bear in my studio today. And yes I did ask it to pose for this tile sketch. 🤪 Anyway, I was busy glazing away when I looked up to see a bear about 8 feet from me and it was blocking my way back into the house. Wow! I may have uttered some expletive and it took off to the back fence and scurried up a tree. Let’s hope that’s that for now. In the meantime, Happy Spring! Insane random wind storm today—saying goodbye to numerous huge beautiful trees…hoping that my LA based flight is not delayed in the wee hours tomorrow. The good news is I’m heading east to see my mom & sisters plus will enjoy the following week at #NCECA—where we all get to nerd out on everything that is ceramic arts.
