All things must change…

As Spring will tell us…all things must change.

Yes that’s a bit dramatic for us, but we have some huge changes coming to our sweet little tile business, Ramona Paloma Tile.

As you probably know, we are a partnership of Soozee and Tracy. We wear all the hats…lab tech, materials shopper, slab roller, tile-maker, tile-glazer, designer, marketing director, shipping manager, etc. Well, we are becoming a solo endeavor…for now. The news is bitter-sweet. Tracy and her family are moving to New Mexico later in the year. She will be doing all kinds of interesting things in a beautiful place. These activities will keep her occupied for a while, which means she will be taking a pause from our tile-making. Time will tell us what her artistic expression will look like in the future.

In the meantime, Soozee will continue creating for Ramona Paloma Tile.

We will not be participating in the usual art festivals in the near future, as we transition. We will not be taking part in the lovely Wistaria Festival, this Sunday, Mar 27 in Sierra Madre. Please pop in to the festival though, 9:00am – 5:00pm. It looks like it will be a lovely day and the Wistaria vine is in full bloom. We have a nice collection of tile at Leonora Moss in downtown Sierra Madre, if you happen to be in the neighborhood for the festival.

We will be keeping our current shops bursting with tile, and plan to expand our Etsy collection during the months of April and May. Soozee is still busy taking orders via email at RamonaPaloma.Tile@gmail.com , (or use the contact page on our website) for both our current designs as well as custom tile. If you want to see more tile, please take a peek at the photos on our Facebook page, or Instagram for ideas. We offer front porch tile pickup in Sierra Madre too 🙂

Tracy and Soozee have created Ramona Paloma through a long and strong friendship. Believe us when we say how sad we are to be discontinuing our daily working relationship, but as many of you know who have met us, we will always be a team in our hearts.

We also view this change as an artistic opportunity, both together and individually. Ain’t life grand!

Raise your glasses…Cheers to you! Cheers to all the love, support, and laughs we shared with you, our tile friends, over these 12 years. We are so deeply grateful for the experiences!!! Cheers to new beginnings! Long live Ramona Paloma Tile Studios!

xoxo
