–a fresh crop of “littles” has sprouted
We like to call these diminutive tile “the littles”.
They may be small but they carry a big voice with their vibrant glazes.
They are all ‘of the hanging variety’ secured by an oxidized steel wire. They range in size from a 1-inch square to a 2 x 4″ rectangle.

One of those relaxing little tasks to get ready for a show…making hangers for my #handmadetile Pop by Creative Arts Group this weekend, Nov 2-3, 10a-5p. 108 N Baldwin Ave, Sierra Madre for lots of beautiful artwork in a variety of mediums.
PS…A long time ago I put a traditional indent in the wet clay for hanging, but I had so many Tile friends say they were nervous about hanging those in this land of earthquakes. So I’ve been doing these galvanized wires for many many years and they seem to last forever. I’ve had some hanging in my garden for 15 years with the same wire and silicone! Not glamorous but highly functional 😁#ramonapalomatile .
